In April of this year the Lower Columbia Community Development Team Society hired M.Thomson Consulting to conduct an Attainable Housing Study for the Lower Columbia Region (which includes Rossland, Warfield, Trail, Montrose, Fruitvale and RDKB Areas A and B). The Study consists of two phases: the development of an Attainable Housing Needs Assessment and the development of an Attainable Housing Strategic Plan for the LCR.
We are preparing to develop an Attainable Housing Strategic Plan. As part of the development of this plan, we will be holding community engagement workshops in early October, focusing of creating attainable housing strategies for our region.
